Penfield & Smith has extensive experience in successfully coordinating numerous floodway revisions with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), for local governments and private parties. Analysis methods involve hydrologic/hydraulic modeling using HEC-HMS, HEC-1, TR-20, HEC-RAS, HEC-2, and FLO-2D and other locally and nationally accepted tools. Major design projects include riverbank protection and restoration, creek channelization, retardation design, erosion control plans and storm drainage design. |
