Penfield & Smith is seeking a highly motivated individual who holds Professional Registration as Engineer with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering plus 5 years of post graduate relevant work experience.  The individual will function as a fully competent engineer in all conventional aspects of civil engineering assignments.  Will independently perform most assignments while receiving instructions as to the general results expected. Assigned work requires a broad knowledge of precedents in the specialty area and a good knowledge of principles and practices of related specialties.  This position will work out of our Santa Maria office.

A candidate who has a strong desire or past experience within Water Resources field is preferred.
